Continuing her approach of highlighting materials, Ariane Bosquet presents works with a strong textile component based on indigo fabrics acquired in Mali. Combined with glues and other pigments such as ultramarine and black, the artist creates patchworks with multiple shades. The media are varied: black Canson paper, palm fibres, thick cardboard, loincloth fabrics, soft leather, canvas. The insertion of plant elements and sand, intaglio printing, and the use of layering and reserve techniques personalise the works.
